Mission

It is our mission to inform, educate and fight everywhere the injustices of Ageism, Sexism, Classism and Racism.  To promote Peace, Social and Economic Justice.

Gray Panthers of Washtenaw meets on the first Saturday of each month, September through June from 9:45 to noon.  All meetings are open to the public and are held at the Turner Senior Resource Center, 2401 Plymouth Road, in northeast Ann Arbor.

Our Values

Participatory Democracy: Gray Panthers members define the organization’s values, purpose and issues.
Active Engagement:  We see civic participation and responsibility as fundamental to achieving peace and social justice.
Unifying the Generations: We believe that generations, though molded by different histories and cultures, can be held together by mutual respect.

Our Vision

Create a humane society that puts the needs of people over profits, responsibility over power, and democracy over institutions.
Eliminate ageismn, injustice, discrimination and oppression wherever it exists.
Bring together young and old women and men of all backgrounds and orientations to achieve social and economic justice.
